movie file compression

i need to compress my movie file……..how do i compress it up to 350 or half size…i m using 7-zip software…..pls tell me

Depending on the format of the movie, you’ll be hard-pushed to get it to a specific size by simply ‘compressing’ it.
To get a movie to a specific size, the movie needs to be down-scaled by using a lower audio/video bit-rate.
The average DivX/XviD release is usually 850-1000 video bit-rate, with audio set at 128-196kbps.
