ITunesU library is screwed, please help.

Lectures in my iTunesU have somehow messed up after i by mistake deleted some. Now though i can see them in iTunes Media folder, they just wont revert back to their proper place in iTunes U.
I tried making a new library, but they wont add there too.
Some of them have landed in the Movies in Media folder and each lecture is under a folder, which is weird.
What exactly i need is, i want all the files in one place which is properly linked to iTunes under one group.
Please help!!
