300mb encoding groups

i just learned how to encode movies with megui and was wondering if anybody needed another encoder in there group.

you better PM one of the members of those groups and ask them if you can join. They’ll ask for proof, so encode a movie or 3, upload it here with a sample and screenshots, then the might accept you as member

sadly ihave pm’ed them and no response except from one of them. but ill upload a video for them. But im not a expert since i just learned….

Uninstall MEGUI the encoders crap and the GUI is even worse, Sorenson gives better rusults because it uses propritry encoders which give better quality/size ratios than freeware equilivents like x264. It has a great GUI and supports batch transcodeing and outputs ISO standard MP4 files which have exellent Hardware/Software support.

Like I said, some proof and some sort of sollicitation letter will do the job (So they know you’re serious and won’t quit after encoding 1 or 2 movies)
You could always start on your own, gain some fame and join a group later
And they are pretty popular here, so the PM probably got lost or they were too busy…

Ask yourself if you are prepared for all the file reporting that you will experience. Having links deleted in minutes can get a bit frustrated. It can mean serious amounts of time just maintaining links ATM. Best you can do is learn as much as possible and try posting some yourself. Then send some links to your threads to the group leader.

Don’t mind him, he posts this stuff to every encoding thread he visits. MeGUI with AVISynth is the better system with the most options for manipulating video. Soz squeeze but you just don’t cut it from any serious encoders point of view.

Nice to see you backing your arguments up with facts instead of silly personal attacks, Oh wait .
Facts are facts are facts and the mainconcept encoder will produce files with better compression (Quality/size ratio) in less time than x264.
Not to mention the fact that the application wasnt built by chimps who wouldnt know what a decent GUI was if it reached up and bit them on the ass .\

well im probably going to keep with megui since i know how to use it, but yeah i can’t reupload links that fast with 50kb/s upload speed…. But im uploading to megaupload so hopefully that will help, but does anybody need a new encoder person? Because i do have the 5770 and the phenom II x3 720 black edition and would have no problem helping. Would have questions to ask the group members though….

regarding your upload speed, i highly suggest getting a hoster where they do not MD5 ban (mu / ff) for hosting files to reupload. also find a place to host your files online where you can remote upload them will help with the reports. i’ve reupped the friends series i couldn’t tell you how many times..
frustrating indeed, and im 90% sure its a bot doing it.
