question before i flash X360

do i need to get a PCI Sata card? or can i use the Sata i have built into my mobo? the mobo i have is an Asus A8N-E… if i can use my onboard then i have a couple more questions… 1. is there anything different i need to do when flashing my drive? 2. also how do i get the Port Number for my onboard sata?
i have the BenQ drive and i plan on following this tutorial… look decent?

With the BenQ, I don’t think you need the custom Sata chip set, you could do it with the motherboard. If your too afraid to do it, I have a cheap service. However, to get the port number, check Hardware Manger or some ~love~. It’s not as hard as you think. You could probably find a easier Tutorial on Xbox-Scene (dot) com. I’ve been to se7en sins, i’ve been a member there since the start, however, alot of there advanced tutorials like this are very glitchy and don’t work because a nub wrote them, I’ve flashed over 35 360’s so i’m well experienced. feel free to pm me.

I have flashed all three of mine. Only one not flashed is the Elite.
As mentioned you can use the motherboard that what I did.

when i did my last benq i needed the via chipset. that tutorial is good.

I don’t really have a site, i just post places and then they pm or email me, or add me on msn. But most of it has been going on locally.

don’t wanna be rude or whatever but i’m not gunna have someone i dont know and doesn’t live by me mod it. i’m not sure worried about doing it as figuring it all out well enough… i can’t find the Sata in my device manager to get the Port

how exactly do i get my port number then? i found my sata in DM… what now? what one is the first sata? i have these…
