Proxy Advice Please

Hi there,
Im looking for a program that will change my IP whilst on a website, I need specifically a US IP. I have found programs that hide and change your IP but they slow your PC down dramatically, does anyone have any suggestions?

all those hide your ip software’s and public proxy’s are kinda slow
so your better buy a vpn dude coz they are way more faster and way more secure to use

Trouble is with website prox’s that I’ve used e..g hidemyass etc not all pages that you view are secured for some reason.
Would anyone recommend a decent VPN? thanks guys
