data loss

December 2nd, 2016

I recently lost all my data from 1 1tb external hard drive and 1 500gig external harddrive…..Does anybody know a reliable reletively inexpensive place I can send these to get fixed where the people know what they are doing
Answer #1
Professional data recovery can cost you anything from $800-$1900 , I suggest you’ll be
more specific in regards to the HDDs condition and how the data loss occured,Then i might
have some things to offer
Answer #2
I recommend Squirrelman’s recovery pack. Should be able to recover it. How was the data lost?
Answer #3
Depending how bad the condition of the hard drive is, you can try to recover things with Testdisk:

Answer #4
the 500gig external was dropped
the 1tb external was hooked up to my laptop while I was transferring data over….all of a sudden my laptop shutdown by itself….when I turned it back on the external began making a grinding spinning noise and the red light was constant
Answer #5
Its physical damage then,Only a pro data recovery company will be able
to recover it , As i previously mentioned its gonna be very expensive,So
think twice whether the data is that important to you or not , I would need
to know what country/state your from before recommending a specific company, Theres plenty of data recovery scammers out there so don’t fall for any cheap ones you come across on google
Answer #6
new york
Answer #7
Go with ontrack , Very reputable http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/new-york/data-recovery-new-york.aspx
Don’t expect any instant pricing , Its not the way it works,
You will have to provide em the hard drives and they
will make an offer based on their condition , You will
get to pick between recovering the data to another hard drive/s
that you can buy from them or provide yourself or you could
have it burned to DVDs but it will be a pain to go thru all the data
like that,Recovering to another HDD would be best
