Spilled water on gaming pc what do i need to replace?

I spilled a little bit of a water into the top of the case (fan on top) and the computer made a sizzle noise and smelled like it was burning.
The computer powers on (nothing works, display,mouse,keyboard.etc) the fans start, NO BEEP like it used to and my motherboard temp says C1 then stays at 26.
it runs for a few minutes then powers off.
which component did i ruin?
Looking in the computer the water could’ve spilled onto the video card

take it to the pc workshop n see
can be anything from PSU to CPU to graphicard etc

It’s hard to say. Hardware needs to be replaced in order to find out exactly what was damaged. Take it to a shop, they will know what to do!

Go to the hardware shop to see which part is damaged and don’t try to turn ON the PC now, coz it might burn the whole system and yes remove the extra hardware such as Graphic Card, Ram etc. So they can be on safer side..!!

Funnily enough, the exact same thing happened to me on Wednesday. Spilled a 500ml bottle of water on my computer, worth about £1,500. Instantly ripped out the power from behind and turned it upside down.
Grabbed a towel and dried what I could then a few hours later I turned it on. No beep, but it turned on. After about 30secs it would just turn off without warning. Thought it was my PSU, CPU, GPU or MOBO. I took out the GPU, nope still didn’t work. Changed PSU, nope still didn’t work. After about 3 day’s I managed to see my computer temperatures and my CPU was about 97’c, my CPU cooler, of all things, ~censored~ up. I bought a new one and it arrived today, changed it and back down to 27’c and everything works.
Some of the dust must’ve mixed up with the water and the CPU cooler would’ve pulled it in, thankfully my CPU is fine!

In all in all
Water and electricity does not mix.
The best thing to do is buy new computer/laptop
U can pick up a brand new computer/laptop from shops for £300-£500 these days

If you do the right thing like Woder and cut power straight away, you have a good chance of recovery..
Removing plugged in devices and using a hair dryer for a final dry up can be handy.
@sixis..Anything that looks like it is corroded is probably damaged.

you got it open so now remove all from the mobo slots and use the above mentioned hair drier to blow out all the slots
leave the CPU alone unless it’s wet
blow off all the cards & memory
leave sit for a day or so, then replace the video card and a memory stick and see if it works
replace all if it does
before disassembling it take pics from all angles and some close ups of where wires are plugged in and use them to reassemble it
