PsP connecting to ext HDD

Hey , any chance of connecting my PsP to external Harddisc(Lacie 1tb)
And play the games, movies, music thats on there?
Any chance?
Or will the software not know what to do and just leave it?
-Cannot try I dont have the required cable atm-

It should have method connect to it but it needs the expert to do so.
