Answer #1
Why do you need 2 routers for 2 computers?
Anyway… direct connect your router to your computer with ethernet cable and flash the firmware to default.
There also is a reset button on the router to completely reset it to stock settings. You can also change the WEP key (don’t think you need to enter the old one), by connecting to it, logging in and changing it.
Answer #2
I was thinking the same thing..Why 2 routers…Unless if you have a good reason…
Try 192.168.0.1 on the linksys…Or the easy way said is to just reset the router and set a new encryption key…WPA or WPA-2…WEP is useless…As good as not using any encryption..
Answer #3
Because my modem only has one Ethernet cable thing so i need one to connect to pc and one to connect to wireless router you get me ??
Answer #4
Yeah…..so you have your modem with 1 ethernet —> router. Then both PC’s connect to the router, since it should have ~4 ports plus wireless.
Answer #5
Is the wep key not on the back or bottom of your router, it is on many routers.
Answer #6
I got you..But I’m In the same situation..I use a wireless linksys router and a switch…Simple…The router controls everything…

No, you set it yourself in the configuration.
Answer #8
You need to login to your router trough your browser…And even then you with most routers you won’t be able to see the key..Or even if you want to change it is you need to type in the old one first..
Your best bet is to reset the router and set a new key..

You need to put something in the passphrase to generate a new one…. it wont generate a blank your problem isn’t there it should show you the key if you have the software installed right. Your manager displays all the keys and passwords including whos connected to your internet <3.

Answer #23
Just reset the wireless router in question. You really don’t need two routers unless the wireless router don’t offer the 4 ethernet ports that most routers does.
