Biology question..pls help!

January 30th, 2020

Hi..pls if someone can solve this problem that i have in biology it would be great..
Between 90 and 120 minutes, a person produced 150cm3 of urine. If the rate of filtration at the glomeruli during this time was 125cm3 per minute, calculate the percentage of filtrate reabsorbed by the kidney tubules.
Pls if someone can show me how to solve this problem reply here..thanks!

:S i did biology in school and we studied the kidney but we didnt do the percentage filtrate and stuff :S sorry mate, try searching it on google!
Answer #3
125cm^3/150cm^3=8.33%?
this seems to be more math than biology.

Opsss, seems our friend has come up with a useful reply. Are you for real Pim? haha.
Is that the actual answer or did you just type anything to make it look good, haha.
I mean if that’s the real thaang formula answer, I’d say: Yu dA mAn!!!
Answer #5
actually i dont know since the 150cm^3 is the total and the 125cm^3 is per minute.
it may be 30x25cm^3, since between the 90 and 120 minute period 25cm^3 is not absorbed?
i guess i probably havent really helped, probably just confused you more.
Answer #6
Well, it looks like you know what you’r talking about anyway, haha. It’s good enough for me Pim.
Look at me here, my tongue is hanging down my knees, drooling at what you’ve just said, haha.
I think you deserve this title: Yu dA mAn!!!!!!!
Think you should put that on your sig Pim … nice an big text “I’m dA mAn!!!!
