Unlocking iphone 3g help needed

hi i want to unlock a contract iphone 3g to work on pay as you go can someone explain to me how to do it

If you mean on that iPhone work with ALL SIM CARDS then do this..
Go to Settings –> General –> About
and look under Modem Firmware…. then report back which version you have… and then I will tell you what to do…
