Nothing, would be able to clean it all IMO. You need a fresh OS needed to be Installed.

Disabling running autorun file is no fun, they open the exe file manually!!
Something should work against these?
One new virus used to change attributes of all folders in pen drive root to system!! These people were all worried that their folders got deleted!!

i know i am double posting, i just want this to in a different post, so please avoid reporting,
I used to see the path they got to autorun on boot, go to safemode and delete them. Disabled pendrive autorun, always opened pendrive through explorer. Kept my pc safe untill one day friend used his pendrive and infected a virus/trojan which used to launch itself as service(i guessed so because i couldnt find it in startup list of msconfig.. Disabled many services, dint solve the problem, then i used the “load system drivers only” option in msconfig, i lost sound
Then formatted..
Which programme is best against malware?
Do you think this combo might work?
1.antivirus 2.mal/spyware removes 3.trojan remover 4.usb firewall 5.usb autorun remover
Guess it will work? If you think i should try it, please mention your combo for the first 3

You know… the thing is that most virus/malware scanner will pick up these things with ese.But the thing is… preventing that files are stored on your USB would be the real solution, but since there is no scanner for USB devices that scans every file that is stored on your USB it will be quite hard.
Answer #7
does Kaspersky have a removeable drive scanner before it opens ?
Answer #8
updated kaspersky is not detecting these exe files on a pendrive after a full scan!! I have set it to scan everytime i mount a pendrive
Answer #9
a portable scanner monitoring all incoming traffic to usb.. Possible?

tried malware bytes ? also im not sure if i caught everything, is there anything you need on this pendrive, as if not then you could always format the pendrive.
Answer #11
havent tried any antimalware softwares yet, tomorrow morning will download malware byte [thanks for that suggestion]
The exact problem is, i cannot format the lib/department comps which are infected, i am exhausted formatting my pc, pendrive.. It just gets infected when i get something from ANY pc in college
I just need to protect my pc, but i cant stop using pendrive from infected pc
Answer #12
could you not upload the file itself to MU in a .zip then download the .zip and scan that ?
also you should inform the school or w.e about there infected pc’s they should solve them all
Answer #13
i dint understand your first line, why would i want to upload it and downlad, scan? (i have 115kbps connection speed by the way )
This is a medical college, it is not possible to disinfect all personal laptops even if the college manages to disinfect all its pcs, they just get infected overnight
Your suggestion of a programme combo for me?
Answer #14
well i usually use kis and it never fails for me, i would just wait until other people come in with some insane combo
Answer #15
kis2011 has been a let down over the past month
You know it was overthrown by one of the viruses i had got infected with lol
Answer #16
Why don’t you use your pendrive safely on your comp…. You seems to be knowing many things about virus. So just be careful not to run that virus on your comp…. So no question of your pc getting infected. you should advice your college computer administrator to disable autorun and give only limited access to account. And if ir is a limited account then there is no possibility of accessing registry and services. So virus should make a start up entry only by using startup folder. Disable that also.. Make it readonly by Administrator… i hope this helps…. Best strategy, do not run the virus on your comp

I have done this exact same thing to a pc of my friend and awaiting the results
My pc is like accessed by around 5 people, 4 of them who just have no clue about this and are not bothered, they just ask me to “repair” regulary
And i HATE UAC.. so, not using in my comp..
Anybody knows how to make nod32 2.7 to automatically scan a pendrive when its inserted?
Answer #18
Use Trendmicro IS or Avira AV and set the heuristics to max. They ‘ll stop you when you approach the stick to the port if sth is infected you won’t even have the chance to plug it in Get Panda USB Vaccine too.
Answer #19
Thanks dude… downloading…
