Answer #3
If you’ve downloaded it multiple times with no luck, it may just be that it was uploaded in a corrupt state by the uploader
Answer #4
what is the link ? and have you tried repair rar file
Answer #5
i have multiple files with this problem i think. no i have not.
Answer #6
Do you use any download manager if so try a download without manager or try with connection limit set to 1 Reinstall Winrar Try 7zip instead of winrar
Answer #7
Maybe problem is with your HDD.
Maybe you should check HDD health….
But don’t know what kind of program to recommend.
Maybe something like Hard Disk Senti, but not sure.
Try it and let us know.
Cheers
Answer #8
Why did you put your PC specs info in a zip file on RS? Why not just write it in the post?
Answer #9
its too long
Answer #10
How can it be too long? Just something like:
Intel i5
8GB RAM
Nvidia GTX660
Win7 Ultimate x64
is enough for specs
Answer #11
I suggest you get your RAM & HDD checked out with Memtest/HDD Senti:
http://www.google.com?p=34650602#34650602
http://www.google.com?t=14769892&start=0

Those are the top 2 reasons for file corruption to occur.
Answer #12
Well the file can be opened on other PC’s but not on mine… then it says error message.. Weird… Tells something about the problem… Must be something with my PC… What should I do?
Answer #13
Reading what Roberto wrote would be a darn good start !
Answer #14
I once had problems unraring files, very surprisingly, reinstalling Windows solved it.

I agree, this is the EASIEST method. After installation you can determine if it really is a problem with your ram or hard drive or simply a one-off issue…
Also for virus / malware issues, i always do a format! (who wants to go through the hassle)
Answer #16
But I can’t even unRAR. Must be something with my PC. But Roberto suggested that before I told it was something with my PC. So it doesn’t apply. Forgive me if I’m wrong.
Answer #17
It might help if we knew which if any of the suggestions offered you have bothered to try
