Is it winrar problem

I have been finding 90% of wirar files corrupted when try to extract. ofcourse I donwload files from , but don’t know what is the matter lately. It does upset me to download 700MB movies files, just to find out that the files won’t extract. Does anyone know what is the matter? I uninstalled winrar and reinstalled another version to see if it would make any difference, but none. My Hidowload also stops downloading files when done 99%. if u know how to fix these problems, I would really appriciate it.

I think your having loss pf packages when downloading files. What kind of software do you use?

Usually this is caused by:
1. Bad router,Try hooking your PC to the modem
directly.
2. Bad download manager,Try another.
3. Bad RAM,Get it checked with memtest,Follow this guide:

4. Bad HDD,Each brand have it’s diagnostic tool..

It seems to be that POS you’re using to download “HiDowload” never even heard of that before. Use something more reliable like IDM or JDownloader.

I am using hidownload 7.95 platinum. I did try IDm for a couple of days, but some reason it slows down my computer to the point where I can’t do anything anymore. I don’t know what winrar version I have though. I will try some of the things you posted in replies. Thank you very much guys.

Try JDownloader, it’s very light and very functional.

In most cases an incomplete download causes File extraction problems.

Possibilities:
– Corrupted install
– downloaded from mediafire (yeah probs come up with MF these days)
– your download manager is causing this problem
