AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz ,, for gaming purposes
August 4th, 2016
I’m going to buy this processor so i was wondering if the integrated GPU which is Radeon HD 7660D can run most of the modern games with ease,, games like pro evolution soccer 2013 and tomb raider 2013 battlefield 3 all on med-high settings with 18.5 Monitor 1366×768
or i have another choice to get this processor A6-3670K 2.7GHz + a discret Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 or HD 7750 1GB GDDR5… it won’t make a difference consider to my budget
so whats the better choice for more gaming experience …
If you would let us know how much you’ve got and what are we working with, its good. As what are we working with, include some specifications.
Those integrated chips are just average, wouldn’t game on those. *Motherboard brand and model.
*Power Supply brand and model.
*Case, often overlooked.

If it was an Intel processor, I’d agree with you, But that is clearly not the case here!
FYI, AMD are miles ahead with their integrated graphics in compare to Intel offerings (Which are far worse in compare!)

First two are not particularly demanding, So you should be able to run em on high settings.
BF3 is a little heavier so I’m not sure it’d run well on high, But it’d be fine on medium.

You wouldn’t wanna pair an APU series CPU with a dedicated graphics card, It’d perform poorly!
Anyways, I’ll need to know more information before I could make any recommendations.

Yes, but would you personally use those Integrated monikers for gaming, you’d be nuts to do that. Its more like buying a laptop.
But yeah with that price range, things look slim.

ok there is what I’m going to get
Case GAMMA 350W
AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35
4 GB RAM DDR3 PC 1333 Kingston
country Egypt so i really can’t tell the budget in my currency but it is around the global prices of these components
and there is something why a dedicated graphics card would perform poorly with APU series ?
The APU can support dedicated graphics OK.
In fact using a HD7770 gives better performance than using a HD6670 in dual graphics mode as shown here..Although I suppose you could say you are ‘wasting ‘the chip a bit ..!

Case GAMMA 350W
Sounds like a generic CASE+PSU to me!
Generic cases usually have poor ventilation and build quality, So I suggest
you consider getting a better one from the likes of Antec, Cooler master, NZXT or Corsair.
And as far as the PSU goes, I strongly recommend you get a quality one (Antec/Seasonic/Corsair/OCZ) of at least 400w. You really don’t wanna cheap out on the PSU, A cheap PSU
can fry your PC some day – This will NOT happen with a quality one!

Why not exactly? It’d surely be useful information after all!
Also, Do you know any online Egyptian PC stores?
And what about answers to my other questions? but it is around the global prices of these components
I don’t think there is such a thing!
Prices vary greatly from country to country (Due to import duties/Taxes)
The APU can support dedicated graphics OK.
Yeah, But it could be better:

Besides, It’s kind of a bad idea to buy an APU when using a dedicated GFX as AMD do have
other Non-APU processors too (FX series) which would perform much better in such configurations! And there’s also the Intel equivalents as well.
