usenet problems

ok I got that invite to the vip usenet and im a noob on usenet as i was told its very very unsafe but well im not after pirated stuff on it. I am getting unable to connect on any free server does anyone know anything i can do?

you need to find a WORKING free server, xsusenet is a good one. since a FREE server is FREE, they tend to be used only for testing their servers, then, when their finished, they close it down. xsusenet should STAY up though.. you need to register for free to get the username/password. here’s a good topic on usenet. http://www.google.com?p=67722691#67722691 note that UseNet is one of the SAFEST forms of file sharing, only the server knows what you are doing, and since they are offering the service, they don’t check!. P2P is the one to stay away from!!. anyway, in any case, you need to check files for viruses as with any form of file hosting.

Thank you, I was on that server but It would only let me test public bins It would not let me do the VIP one in links heaven.
