what is USENET and how can test it

I think i have mostly downloaded stuff which i wanted from / torrent and now i want to try USENET thing and see if i can download some stuff.
The things which i want to know is
1. How to register for that which site
2. Which software i need to install to download stuff / how can i search
3. How much it will cost. I mean i want to try for 3 months and and i want to downlaod around 3-4TB of stuff

2 day free trial, 3 months for like 9 pounds. And anything you wanted you would search here and then any of the links you could get at premium speeds. All you need is a small plugin from there website. They have 91 unrestrained hosts (ie you can dl as much as you want through them once you register).

You will need an account with a news server (I use Astraweb and Giganews). Both have retention rates over 2000 days and both also have various plans you can choose. With Astrabweb, you can pay $25 which allows you to download (IIRC) 150 GB.
I use Newsleecher as my client and it’s not free. You should be able to find a copy in Apps. There are various different clients and it’s a matter of perference as to which you choose. Some browsers also allow you to browse newsgroups.
All this information can be easily found with a few searches, so it’s a matter of choosing what suits you best.

This what i normally use . The only problem i have is its torrent download has 200GB limit . I want to download many stuff which is aboove 200GB which i can’t download
