How can I change Mozilla Firefox’s (v21) background color?

August 4th, 2016

Hello there fellas!
This is my first time I’m using any new release of Firefox with its default settings (I used to have v16 or v17 – something like that anyway – with Firefox v3 theme (add-on)), and I can’t just figure out how to change the (display?) color. I’m using the newest version of Firefox (21.0), and if y’all didn’t understand what I’m after, here’s a picture:

I want that blue-ish and invisible (you can see through it to your desktop’s background) to be grey, and blank. Not like you can see through it.
I tried to google but I guess I’m too newbie with google since I didn’t find anything.
Mostly I’d prefer if it was possible to get my Firefox look exactly like Firefox 3 / 3.6, but the add-on that there is, won’t work with v21 (nor v16-v20 – I tried).
Help would be appreciated!

you are on win7 ?
ways to customize FF
1. FF options have some color control in there
2. change your system colors 3. “about:config” might have some color options
4. “UserContent.css” in your profile’s crome folder
google the items in ” ” for info, like “UserContent.css color”
