August 6th, 2013

Ok , I have PC in which
1. The DVD ROM does not work
2. The motherboard Does not Support USB boot
3. My WinXP is corrupt
I want to install Windows 7 on my PC.. but the installer for WIN xp is corrput , and when i click on the setup file , it says that setup.exe is not a Win 32 application.
The files work fine , I just installed using the same copy on my laptop.
How can I install Win 7 now ??
None of my friends are here , I cant take anyone elses DVD drive or install Windows 7 by taking my hardisk to someone else either..
Win XP works fine but its lagging to much coz of corrupt dlls n some dependencies issues.. so i have to change

I too had an old motherboard that recognized the USB drive in BIOS, but didn’t provide an option to boot from it! The same USB stick worked with other machines, so I knew it was bootable and working.
Your only option would be to get a DVD Drive. Since they are pretty cheap and they are pretty useful you should have them on your system.
