need ethernet driver

I have an older HP Pav XP SP2, that I have restored it seems to have a Intel(R) PRO/VE Network Card. Before I did the restore it connected to internet through cable, but now it doesn’t. I can not get a direct driver online w/o using a scan. which of course, won’t work. Can anyone help with this. I really appreciate this site. TY

p.s. I tried that. It would copy onto my HP. It appears that the driver is on my HP and the files are checked green.
