July 29th, 2013

Hi guys,
I have a problem and that is that when i take a picture or download an app and want to install it my phone gives the message that i don’t have enough space and that i have to delete some stuff but i got a memory card of 8Gb inside!!!???? How can i set it that everything i download or when i take a picture that it automatically saves to the memory card and not to the phone memory because it’s already full… .
I tried everything and looked in the users guide and google but i can’t find the way to directly save to memory card..

Answer #1
mine is nokia c2-01 but it should work:
turn the camera on
click on “options”
then “settings” and for “photo/video storage”
select “memory card”
Answer #2
in the camera app settings you must have settings store to internal or external memory
Answer #3
Yeah guys but that is just the problem… really the settings is already “memory card” so i really don’t know why i get that message when i take a picture?
Btw: that is not only the problem.. i got the same problem too when i download an app and want to install it.. how can i set that apps must download on memory card?
Answer #4
Maybe test the memory card in another device to ensure it’s formatted and working?
Answer #5
1.try updating the firmware if newer is avialble..
2. maybe there are some apps that are hogging the memory card up which then is unable to allocate memory…so try closing all apps and then trying
3. or maybe as catfish suggested try backing up all data and formatting the SD card…
Answer #6
The memory card is working because there are some stuff on it.. and the phone recognize it when i look in the memory section.. .
But @mohattar: what is firmware and how can i update it?
Answer #7
Firmware is the software update for your phone…u can check that by installing Nokia Software Updater and connecting your phone to it and then check if any new firmware is avilable..
Answer #8
try formatting the memory card from your phone and see if it helps
Answer #9
First check if your phone supports 8GB memory cards.

isyrup6 replied: First check if your phone supports 8GB memory cards.
If it didn’t support it.. then i wouldn’t see the memory card in the phone statistics right? The phone says very clear that there is a memory card and how many space empty and stuff..
Answer #11
I asked it today in a nokia shop and i got my answer.. videos and photos are possible to save to memory card but apps DON’T!!! So every time i want to download an app i have to delete one… :s:s:s #whatastupidbullsh*t!!!!
