I have been playing on terrible FPS for this game and I just hit 50… now I want to be able to warzone and do hardmodes in peace.

Now I need help updating my mobo/CPU/RAM
I DO NOT NEED SOMETHING CRAZY! I NEED SOMETHING THAT CAN RUN SWTOR WITH MY GFX CARD (260 GTX) FOR A FAIR PRICE!
Ehh, erm, your GPU is like 3 years old manufacturing wise. If you’re updating, you’d likely be better updating the GPU also tbh and sacrifice and getting lower versions of the others, or you will be bottlenecked by the old GPU.
Just my pov.
Ah okay, well I can do that as well but right now my CPU is bottle necking my GPU so I guess I might just be better to update everything overall.
I am playing SWOTR too, and it is kind of Hard on GPU when is all around a lot of people, mainly in major cities…you need definitely upgrade your GPU, GTX 260 is just old, try to get some AMD, they are not so expensive as nVidia and they are better in my opinion
I have never had an AMD as I hear that nVIDIA is usually better.
well my nVidia Died after year…..my AMD is 2x times better and 50% heaper….you can compate GTX 590 and AMD 6990….AMD is faster and cheaper at the same time…
Ah alright, well anyone who is willing to help me put together CPU/mobo/ram/GPU is a savior!
I have a GTX 275 and SWTOR runs very smoothly on highest settings in 1920*1200. I do suffer some lags occasionally, but I attribute those flukes to the engine, rather than to my hardware.
I have been playing on terrible FPS for this game and I just hit 50..
hit 50? Is that some kind of idiom or do you mean 50 FPS? If so, that’s more than you need to have it play smoothly
I just hit level 50 I meant to say, and yeah see I don’t mind keeping my 260 GTX, people say they run it fine with a 260 GTX so I see my mobo/cpu being a big factor in how my game runs.
Still looking to upgrade!
how much u willing to spend. or you could just try to get an AMD Phenom. but some motherboards wont work with the phenoms.
