August 13th, 2013

Hi guys,
I have googled how to remote control iphone from pc and the results show that i have to download a tight vnc for my pc and Veency for my iphone and i have done all of that but still could not connect and control my iphone from my pc.
When i open up tight vnc viewer and put iphone ip address into it and then click Connect then it says connection… then it pops up a message says “Failed to connect to server(my ip address)”.
I cannot connect it at all.
Please help guys!

I doubt you will be able to connect to your phone via VNC because that requires a port to be forwarded to your phone from the WAN IP.
I use the AT&T Network in USA and I know it is impossible.

humm yea I have done it before when i had iphone 3gs and it wasn’t always connected, i was able to connect to iphone 3gs 1 out 10 times of trying, it was really hard to connect and i had no idea why but now i have an iphone 4 and i’ve been trying for 10 20 times now and never get connected.

The ports are either forwarded or their not, its not something that happens randomly =/
Try TeamViewer, I know you can control your PC with your phone, but not sure if reverse is possible.

Check out orb: http://forums.orb.com/viewforum.php?f=33
Orb is a great application for tablets to see what people are doing on the pc’s, reminds me of the old days with netbus and whackamole. Anyways there is a lot of talk about the iphone app version as well.
Cheers
