Remote control codes

so i went out and purchased one of those all in one but hey presto the code i want aint listed ie my make of media player.so i can not programe the remote to operate my media player,
can anyone help

i have searched the net for remote codes but xenta is not listed anywhere
also i dont know who makes them to ask them for code

yep i did and it searched and searched and then searched even more then carried on searching and nothing.
you check e-bay for the original remote

no manual search, that allows you to “scroll” thro the codes testing the power button for each code ?
Or you cold just buy a replacement remote from the original manufactures or is the remote still under guarantee ?

I had a look but couldn’t find it either. Have you tried contacting the support dept of whom you bought it from to see if they have contact details for the manufacturer ? (prob in China)
It’s also not listed in this massive manual I got with my Logitech Harmony 1100 remote, so the learning mode would be the only option to try, but you say you have tried with no luck.
You’d probably be best taking the remote+player to an electronics repair shop, Maybe they could fix it.

hi its still under warranty/guarantee sent them a mail telling them remote had stopped working and has no manual control buttons so unit can not be operated
