Downloading Games to my PC
August 18th, 2013
i have:
WinRaR
A decent computer with alright specs
USB if i need it
and many cd’s
1. Find game you like
2. Copy links (RS, FS etc)
3. Download (IMD if you are premium user or jDownloader if you are free user)
4. Extract RAR files using WinRAR (it’s enough to run .RAR1 and click on EXTRACT)
5. Mostly games are in ISO format (image) so you will need PowerISO (or UltraISO, MagicISO, Daemon Tools etc) to MOUNT that image
6. Install
7. Crack
That is it..
Install Daemon Tools Its must for games. Update All Drivers. like direct x, visual c++, .netframework, GPU Update divers, etc etc.
For downloading – if you have any premium account then use IDM. or if you free user then use jdownloader.
Note HDD Drive format must NTFS.
Thanks for the help im going to try your suggestions once i have these programs downloaded.
Will be nice to read how it went…
well now asking around it says i need a usb to download stuff, i took example from toothless’s posts for games, friend told me he is a good source
and my usb cant hold more than 4 gigabytes
You don’t need a USB. Just a computer with enough hard drive space to fit everything that you downloaded, extracted and installed.
Why do you need a USB to download stuff?
Download it to your local HDD.
You’ll need USB if you want to move it to another computer, or if you don’t have enough space in your HDD – which is not your case.
thanks guys, im going to getting started on crash bandicoot, and later saints row the third and update on what happend
crash bandicoot works perfect, now saints row
what do i do if there’s like 6 parts to download?
download all 6 parts
go to the first part and extract it to some place
all the files will get extracted automatically
Use JDownloader to download all the parts first, then it will extract by it self. IF you use another method, you will have to extract it manually, starting from part 1.
