To be honest, all this being said, why not just get a 20-40 dollar wireless router?

Thanks for all the input. I ends up use a chinese software.
mofang.ithome.com
It has the basic function of connectify, but no need to install anything (no need install driver too). One click and it’s done.

Presumably he would be using his dongle and laptop away from the home ? If not, his post does not state that he has an adsl internet connection, he just states the dongle. You can get a small cheap 3G router for the dongle though.
Easier to use a 4G mifi device if he can afford the line rental etc, can use up to 10 mobile devices then.
Answer #9
I always recommend getting the hotspot instead of the dongle.
Two main reasons are
1 You can put the hotspot (dongle) in the window or anywhere it gets the best signal (instead of attached to your PC)
2 You can easily share the internet to more than one device
Personally, when I am on the go, I just use my mobile phone’s internet and tether it via my phone’s WiFi =)
