It could well be a problem with the input lag time you will need to google the exact model number to try and find it out anything below 30ms is regarded as ok for gaming.
Sorry can y ou explain to me a little more what you mean by input lag time
anything below 30ms ok for gaming, you’re kidding right?
anything ABOVE 4ms is considered HIGH for gaming (and unwanted) esp on todays games

I’m not kidding you obviously have not read the post correctly the op is talking about a TV set not a high end gaming monitor i stand by what i said under 30ms is regarded as reasonably good for a TV ,If you don’t believe me here is a quote from a highly regarded impartial review site on the latest Sony W9 series which is being lauded for its low lag time on a TV.
When we placed our Leo Bodnar input lag tester on the generated flashing box with the Sony KDL-55W905A set to [Game Mode], we were bowled over by the returned figure of 19.6ms, the lowest we’ve recorded since we started using the device. Seeking to verify this unheard-of level of gaming responsiveness, we then used the more conventional high-speed camera/ digital timer method, which showed the W9 lagging by merely 8ms (half a frame) compared to a CRT display.
What is the refresh rate set on your TV screen? –> Refresh rates on tv screens may decrease when native resolution is increased. Ie 30hz would result in a maximum of 30fps, standard for monitors is 60hz Anything under 25fps is generally considered to be unplayable
Does it still “jitter” when a low game settings are applied? –> Update game and drivers
Try disabling v-sync, as it is sometimes known to cause jitters
I have never experienced a screen too slow for games. I think it’s mostly an urban myth.
Last time I saw a lagging screen was on a 20 year old laptop.
