Does Titanfall (Xbox One) have matchmaking?

I was thinking about buying Titanfall for the Xbox One but I am unsure if it has matchmaking or not because I look forward to playing the game with a friend of mine (playing on the same team).

There is this new option (it’s beta) where you make a room for you and your friends only.
In general I wouldn’t recommend you to buy the game, because you will get bored of it after a month or so, buy battlefield 4 if you have it already then wait for watchdogs and the division.
