Online Backup File

if anyone has any suggestion please share.
Dropbox?

Using filehost for a backup? How did that work out for you? lol
Use Mozy Home Free (2GB), or if you need unlimited space, Carbonite is the only one still offering unlimited.
Idk why people would want to use an online backup service. If volume is your goal, get an HDD. If you need it to store business files (documents etc), anything will do. Anyway the best free option is probably MS Skydrive (25GB I think)

Because its the best way to do it..!?
Every week I take an image of my drive, so if anything goes wrong, I can just stick a new HDD in, and blow the image on.
BUT wait a minute? Now I am set back a whole week?
Oh wait, no I am not, because I use an internet backup service, such as Mozy, to back up all my documents, and setting files that change on a daily basis, and do it about twice a day (well, Mozy does it automatically for me, I never have to do anything).
Now, I can blow the image on my new hdd, and restore my files from Mozy, and be exactly where I was no less than about 8 hours ago.
SO if my computer shorts out, or even if my house can burns down (I keep the imaged drive in my firesafe), I will still have my computer data (which is my livelyhood), in any event that may happen.

I have checked adrive, but it's kinda complicated for my work and for me mediafire looks good but after all filehosting closing one by one i have doubt how long it will run.
if anyone has any suggestion please share.
I’ve just tried Mediafire for the first time as a free user just to try it out as a downloader. I downloaded ABBYY Fine Reader Corp and Pro latest versions as posted on 2baksa and I have to admit I was impressed. Not superfast as a free user but the speeds were good and no messing about with waiting times and stuff like that and there was no cap on what I had downloaded previously. As filehosts go I’d give it 9/10 but if the speed was a little bit faster I’d give it a 10/10.
I don’t use filehosts usually, I’m just testing a few out.

Why even pay an online service to do all that???
I use Acronis True Image to take all my O.S. image files, back them up to a 10TB RAID, which barely has anything on it, as for all my games, movies, TV shows, apps, I have separate TB dives for those, which serves it’s purpose.
I do not feel the need to backup my O.S. files constantly, I have a current image file of my O.S. which is like a 2 months old, I might restore it within the nest 2 or three months, then update the image.
I do not have the excessive need to contantly backup my O.S., it’s pointless, as long as I know I have one solid image file, that’s all I need.
I am glad I did not use any of these hoster sites to backup all my stuff, it would have been a shame to see these sites go offline an for me to have all my stuff stored on them.
What a waste that would have been.
Dropbox is OK, I’ve never tried Mozy that SmAsHeDr recommends, but keep meaning to get around to it.
You can set Acronis True Image Home to do a continuous backup to another hard drive drive. I generally just make an image each week on my puters/lappies, and anything I download on a daily basis I just drag/drop to an internal storage drive, however if that failed at the same time as one of my OS drives, I would be screwed.
Anything I never want to lose, I make backups straight away on to multiple media formats.
On-line data storage is useful if you need to access it from anywhere, but I would still recommend encrypting it.

Seriously? Would’ve thought you learned your lesson by now.
Why not just use an external hard drive along with a good backup app?
