Need app to convert mkv/mp4 to videos for DVD Player

Dear All,
Can you please point me to a link/app which can convert the downloaded movies from here (mainly in mkv and mp4 formats) to some format that can be burned onto a DVD-R and thereafter played on a standard Philips DVD player?
Please suggest something which is simple and doesn’t require a lot of customizations/ settings before starting the conversion process.

Freemake or convertx, freemake gives you more options both will do the job well.

I’m not that familiar with Format Factory, but don’t use something that only converts. As to get it to dvd, ConvertX and Freemake Converter convert it. So you don’t want to convert a convert.

Don’t convert your videos just use ConvertXtoDVD and burn them a dvds … or if you just wanna keep them as files to watch on a DVD player then convert them … or just play a MP4 player
