Answer #1
look for cracked version of AVG..should work for you
Answer #2
KIS/KAS or ESET, AVG is a hog, both will give better protection than AVG
Answer #3
Panda Cloud Antivirus which is free and very light has much better detection rates than many of the paid antivirus. I’ve been using it for a year with no problems whatsover. http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/
Answer #4
for paid or cracked ones kaspersky and bitdefender have the lead , rest follows them.
for free panda , avira have very good protection scores , avast and avg’s protection scores are greatly declined in recent months
although not many know , there is a free version of bitdefender also. very lightweight with just a few options. there are not much tests about free version of bitdefender but since it uses the same av engine with other bitdefender products , i bet it will be very good.
Answer #5
The best anti-virus is your mind
But if you want something light, ESET would be more than adequate
Even MSE would be enough
Answer #6
I have changed to MSE after AVG became no better than Norton for its tying up resources unnecessarily. Found MSE to be good and stealth like whilst working on protecting your computer. Find it brilliant in a school environment where speed and reliability of the computer is important and deployment is stealth. Never had any problems or heard of anyone who have had problems that I have recommended it too.
