Looking For Non Cinavia Blu-Ray Player For Windows

January 23rd, 2020

I am looking for a piece of windows Blu-Ray player software that is not compatible with cinavia. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

not possible. If they are licensed after Feb 1st 2012 for full blu-ray playback (meaning full java menu support), they HAVE to detect cinavia. There’s no way around that, if they don’t they risk losing their playback license and more.
The only 2 fully licensed players (now that arcsoft stopped TMT) are PowerDVD and WinDVD and both are required to detect it, however with Anydvd installed AND the “prevent cinavia detection by software players” setting enabled, anydvd will prevent them from detecting the signal.
There are non-licensed blu-ray players but since those are unlicensed, they usually don’t support full java menu’s, or menu’s at all. In the best case most of them use a simplified hdmv static menu only

Don’t VLC and MPC HC play bluray?
Mine MPC seems to OK

just for the heck of it dled it and it was exactly as i expected. Due to it being an unlicensed player it doesn’t support ANY type of the standard blu-ray menu’s. Instead it slaps on its own, basic HDMV static menu. If OP wants full menu support he’ll have no choice but to use one of the 2 licensed ones.
