Crysis 2 black screen help

I put the crack in the folder, but when I start it I get a black screen with a mouse.

Which version you are using? Install latest patch for crysis and apply new crack. Then update your video drivers.

Update your Graphic Card Driver and disable your firewall & Av then run.

1.9, and my video drivers are upgraded. It just keeps going to a blackish-grey screen where all I can do is move my cursor.

Post your system specs,Maybe your PC just can’t handle it.

I got it, I really don’t know how lol, just kept messing with copying the crack and it works now.

i have crysis 2 version 1.00.5858
my system config is AMD 5600+ x2 am2 2.81 Ghz
ddr2 4gb 800mhz ram
ati 5770 hd
whenever i am starting the game after some time either my machine shuts down or the game hangs or system goes in to BSOD showing “driver_irql_not_less_or_equal”
please suggest me what should i do …what is the problem and what can be the solution tomorrow i will update my display driver curently i m using v11.2 and a new 11.8 driver is released.i have tried different cracks.i m sure that the version i have is perfectly ok.because it is running on my friend’s computer which uses nvidia graphix.now is there any issues with ati ?? if then then is there any solution?
