Bootloader problem

Hello wbb! So, I tried to dual-boot a custom linux distro with seven but failed miserably… The problem right now is that, even though I completely removed the linux partition and the linux bootloader, my PC refuses to boot from Windows I have to use hiren’s boot everytime to start the bootloader. Is there any solution to this?

Easiest way, install GRUB.

boot from the 7 disk to recreate your bootloader
1. boot to Windows 7 installation disc
2. Press a key when you are prompted.
3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
4. Click Repair your computer.
5. Click Next.
6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
then type
BOOTREC /FIXMBR
BOOTREC /FIXBOOT
BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD (this should find your 7 install and let you add it)
you will need to run a 7 crack to reactivate windows

Just in case what Ed. said doesn’t work, try this…
Help, my system won't boot!
Boot up the PC from your Windows installation disk
Select the "Repair your computer" option
Select "Command Prompt"
Input "bootsect.exe /nt60 SYS /force" (without quotes)
Restart the PC
Note: If the above doesn't fix your boot issue then use the command "bootsect.exe /nt60 ALL /force" instead. Just make sure you remove all USB flash drives before you use the command.

Then, unless you have a genuine key, run the Windows Loader v2.1
(If you have been using some other activation method, then run WatFix first…)
