Overclocking Core i3..

Well, after watching videos @youtube, I’m ready to overclock. How much should I set the host clock frequency? (doing with bois)
Core i3 530 @2.93 GHz
DH55TC…..
Whats the max i can get in stock cooler?
(OC to 3.2)

Come on mate use google….
I have the same cpu as you, providing you have a decent motherboard to overclock and a decent cpu cooler you will get to 4.0 ghz, with the stock cooler i’d imagine 3.5ghz before you start getting high 70 degrees temps at load.
Usually just about changing the Front speed bus (FSB) to something bigger and keep testing with prime95.
A good search and read for a couple of hours will tell you everything you need to know:
