Need to open a laptop keyboard

dont you just open up the laptop (at the bottom via screws).
last time i fixed one it was
Most Toshibas – with pictures

most of them open from the bottom.
Which means you may need to remove most of the casing to get to it.
Shouldn’t be too hard though, all you’ll need is a small phillips-head or allen-key screwdriver
and a slightly bigger flat-head screwdriver to help pry things apart.
I haven’t pulled this particular one apart, but in my experience, chiclet keys are the only ones that you can undo from the top and this keyboard your referring to, is not a chiclet keyboard.

Yep, the directions I was sent has the person opening it from the top aaand they used a drill to take the screws out. . .hmmm
Thanks for the links and tips, I already had one fall out and I’m hoping the others just fall out too, but I’m thinking that this is what’s wrong with the keyboard right now too so i’m going to have to just lift the keyboard to get the cd’s out.
