I am thinking of buying this, would you say that’sa good buy.
I’m hoping to play BF3 in highest settings without lag. and hopefully most of all the other games out there.
Is there anything the same/better for cheaper anywhere else before I buy this?
Cheers to everyone that can help
Not really when you can buy the parts cheaper while getting better quality and warranty. Plus OCUK has terrible customer service.
Yea man, like jock said, you will get a better computer, with better parts, for a better price if you just build it your self.
I only build computers in NA but I am sure someone here will help you build a system if you give location, budget, and tell us what you do on your pc.
Also, don’t be scared to put it together, their just legos, a kid could do it =D
Whats a good site to order parts from?, only problem though I was planning on doing a buy now pay later type of thing
Look here.
www.scan.co.uk
Also check here.
www.cclonline.co.uk
And here
www.ebuyer.com
and even here
www.dabs.com
Usually scan works out the cheapest.
How much do you have to spend on the build?
i’ll take a look what i can put together for you
About 1k I suppose
Idealy I want it to be able to play GTA IV pretty high and obviously if possible newer games like Battlefield 3
Edit: I don’t need any monitor, speakers, keyboard or mouse

It will work out much cheaper buying the parts seperately than pre-built, even if you have to stick it on a credit card/overdraft/loan
Edit – I forgot to mention, have a look at the “used” list at Dabs, I have got quite a few bargains from that, they weren’t used, just the box was dented or ripped, but beware a lot are returns.
