Xiaomi and Meizu Smarphones

March 28th, 2020

well Xiaomi and Meizu phones are really cheap and they seem to be very good, have any one tried them here?

Haven’t used the recent models, but used to have a first generation Meizu.
Their specs are not bad, good support as such for the Xiaomi, Meizu I’ve had a long last experience of beta roms.
And yes Meizu are tight as hell in terms of software development. If you want good specs and lots of options to mod, Xiaomi is the way to go.
Personally I’ve went onto Huawei’s Mate 7, not the most efficient handset, but has all the bells and whistles.
Paid outright $449 at DSE in Goldcoast.
Some of the features:
4100 mAh battery – yes you can use this handset to charge other stuff through an OTG cable.
Fingerprint reader – one that actually works really fast, going from a iPhone 5s to this and it seems pretty impressive.
77% screen to bezel ratio – find some other handset that has more screen than this. 8 cores – not the most efficient ones, but still packs a punch.
Dual sim or single sim plus micro sd card – throw in a Kingston UHS-I 128gb ($40) in there and your good to go.
All metal body – does the handset already not scream value enough?
My complains:
The physical buttons are a joke, no tactile feel like iPhones (thankfully, you don’t need to use them that much).
The initial power consumption messages are somewhat annoying (you can let it know to ignore it per software and it will be gone).
Hard to find decent cases, but ebay can solve partially.

i want to go for one of these phones:
Meizu M2 Note
Meizu M2
Meizu M1 Note Xiaomi Redmi note 2 prime 5.5 inches, 1080 x 1920 px display Xiaomi Redmi 2
Xiaomi Mi4
Most of them are around $200 and they seem very good for their price.
This one is really good, i mean that good (according to reviews on youtube)
Xiaomi Mi Note but it is around $300-$400

Xiaomi Mi4 of course, I’d buy a Xiaomi over a Meizu anyday, the Redmi lineup is too budget, so I’d say skip that.
