xbox one or ps4 – which is better?

i like games like la noire etc and i know thats not available yet but which would be better and have cheaper games to buy?
obviously if they could be chipped would be brilliant
and why are not all games 1080p on xbox one..
please advise?
There is no correct answer to which console is better. Everyone has their own opinions.
You’d be better off at looking at the exclusive games for each console.
For instance… here is just three exclusive games for each console.
PS4 Exclusives:
DriveClub
Killzone
Resogun
Xbox One Exclusives:
Dead Rising 3
Forza 5
Killer Instinct
So, if you really wanted to play Killer Instinct and Forza, then obviously your choice should be Xbox One.

Look at what games you want and pick accordingly? Neither one is better.
Also it’s not 1080p because newer games are less optimized (See first 360 games and compare to 2013-2014) and also in reality “next gen” consoles really aren’t that strong.

whoa you just started another best console debate, there are a myriad of debates, polls and all, over the web, but its like “Neither can win while the other survives”
If you get the same console as your friends, it would be good for online multiplayer gaming.

Everyone has a favorite game console whether it is the PS4, Xbox One or Wii U. As far as which console is more powerful I would have to say the PS4. The PS4 has 8 GB GDDR5 memory vs the Xbox One’s 8 GB DDR3 memory. That in itself offers a huge power boost. Also, the other factor is that the PS4’s Peak GPU Shader Throughput is 1.81 TeraFLOPS/s vs the Xbox One’s 1.31 TeraFLOPS/s. The reason why Xbox One games aren’t running in 1080p when compared to the PS4 is because of the Xbox One’s Kinect which requires a bit more horsepower allocated to it in order to perform. The PS4 on the other hand has all the horsepower going directly to the system.
Its like they argue on Top Gear. All 3 of them have driven all the same care, but each prefer different ones. Just get what your friends have got.

atm neither, go for ps3 or xbox360 if u are set on console for gaming (or even wiiU ), next(current) gen is still weak on game launch. But if u are set on getting next gen console ” just because ” its choice must be set on your preference as it is matter of taste in games/UI not better/worse

Find out what new gen console your friends are getting if they don’t have one yet, and then decide from there. Some people can switch allegiance. I have a friend who was Sony since start and has gone over to Xbox. He only did it because he preferred the games.
Considering how poorly Microsoft treated it’s fan base prior launch, that alone, should merit the purchase of the PS4.
But it really depends on the amount of money you are willing to spend, cause if you could, just get both.

It depends on what you want. Both ps 4 and xbox one is good in their own specific ways. PS4 is stronger it uses ddr 5 RAMS and all. But with xbox one you can experience more than gaming. It makes you tv smarter. It also depends on the developer who develops games for the consoles. You can see GTA 5 for both xbox 360 and ps3 are very good gfx compared to their hardware specs.
I think playstation has always run better graphics, gaming, & online was free for years but that is my opinion, I do like the halo franchise & have an xbox & xbox 360 purely for that reason, so get what you want & stuff your friends be a leader not a follower.
