Xbox 360 Problem

Hi im having some trouble with my xbox 360 it wont read any game disks it’ll read most DVD movie Disks but no video games i have gone throught the offical xbox support suggtion section but dont want to send it to be fixed as i dont have the spare cash anyone know anything to fix it?

You most likely need a new laser. That would be the easiest way to fix it yourself. A laser might run you about $15 USD. The cheap way to fix it would be a POT Tweak to the laser. If you don’t mind taking it apart, have a multimeter, and can follow directions this might fix it… Here’s a tutorial….

If you can spare the 15 bucks you can order the laser and it’s pretty easy to switch out. Good Luck!
