Hello, XBOX 360 has only 4 GB HDD, how can I install GTA IV and other big games in it?

If DVD is inserted all time in the console, Where console save the game files? on the DVD? 
Xbox360 does not install games like PC, they run off the DVD. Only saves and such are saved on the hdd.
So, XBOX 360 4 GB would be better for me? Wouldn’t it?

No, I haven’t checked my nearest electronic market. I did a search on eBay India, but there, the price was too high. eBay UK and eBay USA has cheap XBOX 360. On eBay UK, XBOX 360 S is available in $174, while on eBay India, it is available in $443. Why is there too much difference in price?

If you really do plan on buying from the US/UK check that the person does international shipping or if theres a relative/friend that you know and trust there, have them purchase and deliver it to you.

I see, I have a ps3 myself so 
Regarding custom duty: its doubtful customs will let a 360 pass through. You’ll have some trouble getting it in for sure and yea they’ll charge you good, probably pegging the console price to that at which its available in India.
Your best option is to try and get in touch with someone living abroad so that they can get it with them if they’re coming to India.

^^ No, tell him to dump the box packaging and bring only the bare unit & controllers etc. with him. If custom asks just tell them its for personal use, they usually dont bother with one or two items tho.

My uncle bought it in a cover with all the contents of the box
When the customs asked ,he said it were his and he usually carries it back….
They allowed it. So better do like that..
But you get a 110V adapter with it
I am still searching to get a 220V Adapter. Found one but it costs 2.5K
And the games in India are all PAL while i got a NTSC . SO getting disks is abit difficult

Just to clarify–You CAN rip a game to the HDD provided it’s large enough (obviously 4GB isn’t). The only caveat is that the game must be in the disc tray to play the game from the hard drive. It makes for quicker loading times and less strain on the optical drive.

i just have to say, PAL isnt the same as NTSC, you will only be able to run one off the xbox depending on where you live, for eg, i live in AUS so i can only use PAL.

Modding is in my opinion a lot of work when you never done it , since you need to do some disassembling and soldering then reassemble and after wipe and re-hash some code in the xbox in order that he think the chip you just put is the good one. After that there’s all the update you need to aquire from the specific website (of the mod chip you got) in order to not get ban from xbox live. And then you need to download your game get the steal patch in order to play online without problem (until further update from microsoft) My point of view on modding the xbox 360 is not good , I find it to be too much concern and problem . I prefer buying my game. That way I also enjoy them longer since I pay for them and also because I don’t have 400 game that I wouldn’t have bought the first time.

Those are the way DVD are encoded in order to be play in some region.
India is PAL
So you should get a PAL console , otherwise any game/movie you’ll rent won’t work.
I suggest you getting the Xbox Elite which come with a 120gig harddrive (it’s pretty large.. I currently still have about 40gig left and I know I could delete some game and expansion that I don’t use that much)
I would suggest you the Slim , since it look really good and all .. + kinect ready. But I prefer to wait and see if it suffer from a problem such as the RROD like with the first Xbox generation.
And I wonder why people say that you can’t install your game on the HDD
You clearly can , you just need to have the game in the tray in order to allow the xbox to verify you possessed the game.
When highlight the game press the Y button , you’ll be ask to install it.
It take about between 4 and 8gig of space per game.
