Xbox 360 Hack Questions

Hi
Well….I am willing to purchase an xbox360 and legit games…but now that I see all these games posts, I have a couple of questions:
1- How does the xbox 360 hack work? What is it in the first place?
2- For those of you who have a hacked xbox360, can you play online? does the console cause any problems?
If anybody could help me understand this hacks (im a serious noob), it would be great…

If you hack your 360 you need to accept that you will someday be banned. It might not happen right away, but it will happen. So if you want to play on live then don’t do it.

Allright…and does it cause any problems to the console (bugging, games not working properly, dvd player not working well, etc)?

1. hacking your 360 is just flashing the dvd-drive, so it will play burned games.
2. if you keep your firmware updated and don’t play bad burns you won’t get banned
and the console won’t change or anything you won’t notice anything

Great! I even found someone who can do that for me….now one last question…
When I download a game from this great forum, is it an image file? Do I just burn it on any DVD and it works? Or is there a special thing I should know…does it need a special burner or anything?

well, firstly you need a dvd-DL to burn the games on , yes they will be in an image file most of the time, you need a burner that will burn dvd-DL, and iv heard the best kind of dvd-DL to burn it on is Verbatim. Hope that helps
