winxp randomly sticks/ mini hicups — please help

Hey guys,
when I move my mouse around it randomly sticks, maybe about every 2 seconds
its like a mini-freeze or a hicup
all software has this hicup effect too, when i play videos, broswing, typing
its really annoying, can someone help me please??

have you checked your computer temps, tried a defrag of the hard drive ?

i cleaned all the temp files.. havent tried defrag as yet :-/

If you ask me your PC is probably infected with spyware.
You should try system restore.

By temps he meant temperatures,not temp files.

It isn’t that important really,I haven’t done it for years,Defragging
is so overrated.

whats a good antispyware? all seems like crap to me .. and if this happens again, i dont feel like reloading everyweek

Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 11.0.1.400.1419. Been using previous versions of KIS for years, never got a virus and blocks all spyware, trojans, worms, ads, blah blah blah. The new v2011 uses a lot less system resources than previous versions.
After you first install it, it will do a complete silent scan in the background and kill all the nasties it finds.
