do i have to reinstall drivers of my Windows xp sp2 after i install sp 3?or everything stays the same?
Answer #1
If you have to install the drivers for SP2..It’s no different to SP3…And Driver will work with any service pack..even XP without service pack…
Answer #2
Damn,what about games,do i have to reinstall them?programs also.
Answer #3
You can do a full repair with your XP SP3 install CD and you keep all tour settings as well as update your XP…or you can download SP3 on it’s own and update it in windows…Nothing will change..
But if you format and reinstall you will lose everything…
Answer #4
Wait how can i only update the windows to get SP3 and change nothing to the PC without need to reinstall or install drivers etc
Answer #5
You can download service pack 3 on it’s own…Look in the freeware section or go to Microsoft website…
Answer #6
When you install SP3, you UPGRADE… you don’t reinstall XP. So you won’t loose ANYTHING when you upgrade. Everything will be exactly the same as before, you won’t notice any difference.
Answer #7
I think kinda lost you there. You dont need to reinstall drivers or anything. Upgrading to SP3 should go smoothly. There is a small chance your computer may have problems. Very few people had issues back when it came out months ago. I never had problem with it i just let computer update automatically by itself and was fine. You dont even notice the update, i mean not much chances just security patches something for the internet and other stuff.
