Windows / Crysis 2 Technical Question

I have Crysis 2 FLT, But the Install, not the Original ISO. I want to Install Cry Engine 3 but it requires for the game to be Installed, So my Question is, How to Manually Install it? I’ve Done Registry Entry’s for games in the past but had no luck. If you have any ideas, Id appreciate it. I’m trying to avoid downloading 8GB again.

U mean cry engine 3 editor?
Without the game u cant open it..
U have flt version of crysis 2 installed?
Is it v1.9?
If u hadnt updated then update to v1.9..
Then u can install the editor..

Yeah to Make Maps,
I have the FLT Install, Meaning i went to the Install Directory on another Computer and copied the Game from there. So its not actually installed on my computer. But in order for the Map Editor to work, The game has to be installed. You can’t select the installation folder in the Installer. So to avoid downloading 8GB, I’m trying to find a way to Manually install it into Windows Via Registry or etc….

When u try to install any error shows?
There’s no guarantee but u can try adding registry..
n then try to install.. i hav reg files but u need to change values according to ur system.. u have 32bit or 64bit OS?

There’s no guarantee..
but use this..
Open reg files using notepad and change the directory according to where’s ur game files copied..

Optional:
after adding reg try update to 1.9 again. n thn install cryengine editor.
If these doesnt work then u have no other choice..
