Windows application error

This has only happend in two programs, HD setinael and IDM.
Why is this happening? I always assumed this to be a registry error, but even after fixing it as best as I can this is still happening.
What is causing this?
I ran the program as admin (I am the admin), it still gave me this…

An anti-virus and/or firewall program you have installed on your PC may be blocking them from running. Try disabling them and run IDM and/or HD Sentinel again and see what happens.

I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THIS ISSUE. NOW IT WORKS.

Haha. Has happened to me quite a bit. Add exceptions to these programs in your anti-virus and firewall so you wont have to disable/re-enable your AV and FW everytime you want to use IDM/HD Sentinel.
