Will Windows 10 be free for those who use pirated Windows 7?

August 7th, 2016

For those of us who use Windows 7 activated by the Daz loader, will we be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free?
Answer #1
Yes, but the upgrade is for valid for one year and a half or two or something AFAIK.
Answer #2
Sadly it’s too soon to be sure of it. Like every other Windows release there should be a fix…
Answer #3
Microsoft changes its mind every few days. First it was everyone. Then it was only legit copies of 7 and 8. Now they’re talking about including XP and Vista.

Sounds like anyone that dl’s the trial will get a free rtm version.
Answer #4
No it won’t.
Yes you’ll be able to upgrade for free, but it won’t change the invalid license part. Instead of an “invalid W7” you’ll now have an unlicensed W10 installation. Invalid installations remain invalid.

Answer #5
It’s only free if you Pirate Windows 10.
Answer #6
if not just download from here and do a clean instalation. im pretty sure there will be a loader for win 10 as well. cheer up butter cup. it will all work out
Answer #7
NO. You’ll need a genuine windows (not done by Daz loader) to upgrade to Windows 10!
Answer #8
if you pirated W7 then W10 shouldnt be a problem anyways. I bet it will update but no genuine tests will work without a loader
Answer #9
I don’t think there will be any loaders unless they went back to the OEM licensing method used for Windows 7.
Maybe KMS licensing methods will work..
No free Windows 10 license for Windows Insiders – no perks for beta testers
Posted 12 May 2015 17:00 CEST by Jan Willem Aldershoff
Windows 10 testers, better known as Windows Insiders, won’t receive a free Windows 10 license, despite earlier rumors. Microsoft won’t provide a free Windows 10 license to testers when the operating system has reached RTM status, according to Microsoft manager Gabriel Aul on Twitte
His comments caused some confusion with users. First Aul answered whether the Technical Preview could be upgraded for free to the RTM version with a “Yes”. But when users continued to ask it soon became clear that this is only for systems with a valid Windows 7 or Windows 8.x license. This means Windows 10 Technical Preview users won’t receive any perks compared to regular Windows 10 upgraders.

And a big thumbs down to a most stingy and unappreciative Micro$oft attitude..
Might just add Windows 10 to the pile of unneeded and unwanted Vistas

This is one of the few things they are not bad. Can we really complain that a company won’t give his principal product for free? If Microsoft is bad in this case then all the companies of the world are bad at the same level. Lately Microsoft has done a lot of good things and on some sites there is a new saying:”Microsoft is the new Google and Google is the old Microsoft”.
I’m a *nix type so I don’t love Microsoft. But the Nadella administration is proving to have some good in it. They are open sourcing a lot of things, they are offering solutions for every operative system, they are providing developers a lot of resources, etc. etc.
As much as I hate Windows, Windows 10 seems a very good release to be in a beta state. With sincere sadness I must say that nowadays I can’t really hate Microsoft as much as Apple. The greater enemies first, then the lesser.

That will stop those cheap ~ censored ~ at Universities snagging free windows licences. People that expect the best do not use licences when they are not entitled to.
Those guys at Uni are soft “crocks”.
