Most of the videos you see on Youtube of people playing their Wii are fake (PiP, etc)
There is a “working” Wii emulator, but it won’t run full speed with full functionality

so its mean the wii remote will work on the PC without console?
Answer #3
Yes. You can use the Wii-mote, without Wii, for your PC. I did this with my media center PC running Media Portal a while ago.

Well I had Wii sports on my PC and it worked OK using a mouse and Dolphin emulator.

Also their forum says a lot fo games work well but I am not a Wii fan so I can’t really say.

No, dont listen to them. There is a gamecube/Wii emulator (Dolphin) that really works. Most of the game, not all, run at full speed with full functionality. I can play Zelda Twilight princess WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. FULL SPEED 60FPS aswell as other games like Mario Strickers, Mario Party, Wind Waker and others. That, without any graphical bugs or sound bugs. It works splendid but you NEED a good computer!!!!
Check this site out: www.dolphin-emu.com/ It is real, and you can play with your keyboard, xbox 360 controller (or any other PC controllers) and of course with your Wii remote via BLUETOOTH plugin that is included inside the emulator!

ive actually tried this you’ll need the emulators above http://www.dolphin-emu.com
a wii controller, ( from wii box Very Happy )
bluetooth dongle, (99p of ebay)
a wireless infra red sensor (got mine for under 5 from ebay)
and then a little brains in getting it working
games runs a little slow but playable on my pc but then again the games are free downloadable of the net instead of paying 30 or so from the shop.
if you want to play properly suggest save some time and buy a wii bundle. hope this helps.

you’ll need a wireless infra red sensor as the wired one cant connect to the pc i bought something like this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-INFRARED-SENSOR-BAR-WIRELESS-NINTENDO-Wii-/370460450737?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameAccessories_VideoGameAccessories_JN&hash=item564129dfb1

also need to buy 4 aaa batteries to get it to work, the more expensive one the better signal.
