December 16th, 2013
If your still using RS your stuck in the past,It’s not as popular as it used to be!
These are good,But none of the files are hosted on RS of course.

DO a Warez-bb search in “Music” with “+rs +flac” in the title bar….(Search found 1000 matches).
@Roberto400, you re right. Thanks for the links i ll check them anyways.

Ave you searched like that? There are 20 Pages with “FLAC” 20% are Rapidshare, and from those 2% are quality music. Others are just latin/jazz/electric trash which i never liked to listen to.
It’s also surprising what you can find just with Google
“album name” FLAC rapidshare
or
“album name” lossless rapidshare
etc, I have found a lot of albums that way I couldn’t find anywhere else

Just to confirm, can you hear anything extra from the so called lossless FLAC souundtrack? I mean, even normal MPEG-3 soundtrack with bitrate higher than 128KB/s is good enough for me. Tell me if I’m wrong & that FLAC is something else. I have a “quite decent” sound system to try out high quality audio. Thanks!

Here is a decent site, however I stopped uploading with them now. You can register or visit as a guest.

If you’re referring to the “sound system” in your sig then it’s pretty obvious why you can’t hear the difference.
Both my Logitech speakers are really that bad? … Please advise on the good ones.
I’ve read reviews on them too. You know…it all depends on personal taste. Not everyone are typically picky. Not being able to hear the difference means you’re easily satisfied or you’re not good at differentiating but why not? You don’t have to spend extra pennies on more luxurious hardware.
Please have a look at this & you’ll know what I mean.
The Saitsficer & Maximiser Theory
(I came across this article during my IELTS reading test. It was the first passage. I found it very inspiring. Luckily, I’m able to understand its content & managed to score. Praise the Lord.)

My suggestion would be to try and get into a private torrent tracker that specializes in high quality audio rips such as what.cd
.
What.cd is awesome, get an invite there:

Ok this is helpful. Thanks Sir!
@TKH258 Logitech? I ave an 2+1 Sound system by Sony from the Line CD nd i ave notice an huge difference. Even over 320kbs when on full volume.
By downloading FLACs you re sure that you ave the highest quality nd if you move somewhere you realy don t care if someone find them on your PC. You don t need an Licence for FLAC, you just said you lost 300 CD’s.

Ok, thanks. FLAC is both legitimate & a good excuse. Great!
Only problem with FLAC is it can’t be played on iPod’s. You have to compress to it lossy mp3 or wav format.

It’s alright. I don’t have an ipod anyway. I mean I don’t often use portable devices for entertainment.

This is going to change soon, FLAC has become so popular the one or other Player in the next Year will feature it.

It’s useless anyway. The DAC on iPods can’t possibly do a good enough job for handling FLAC. Same goes for 99.999% of people’s computers.

Right! I’m one of them. Just like what paroxysM said so. Haha… Since I’m no audiophile, I can live with it. Good day.
If anyone’s looking for a portable music player that plays FLACs, the Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus does play them (along with MP3, WMA and Ogg Vorbis), it also has a microSD slot for increased storage (which you’re gonna need if you listen to FLACs)
Whether FLACs are overkill for a portable device is another question though
