Whats the difference in XP Service Pack 3?

No functions have changed…
Xp’s appearance doesn’t look any different
Whats the difference between this and SP2?
PS. I applied icons etc
In the main SP3 is SP2 plus all the fixes that came out after SP2 final was released.
I wouldn’t bother installing Beta’s or RC candidates because neither have been finalised and most probably contain bugs. Even the final SP3 won’t be perfect for the simple reason that there will always be more hotfixes after they finalise it.
+1…There is an official micro$oft version coming out next year.
Apparently, the biggest change, depending on your system, are XP’s benchmark speeds. Your computer might run faster, perhaps not notably, but what goes on behind the scenes may be more efficient.
